Modern people have been living in reinforced concrete buildings for a long time, and they will miss beauty of traditional buildings. In recent years, home design has gradually incorporated more traditional design elements and construction methods. The most distinctive of these may be wooden structured ceiling.
For example, application of a penetrating structure with Sichuan-Chongqing architectural characteristics in the process of renovating a homestay home is not bad.

The main body of building is a one-story brick-and-wood building. Make a landscaping around wall with a green belt, place it on north wall, and let sunlight go to south.
The overall interior is supported by a wooden structure, as entire wall is used for lighting, and a light source is sufficient. Leave ceiling lights in just a few spots to fill in light.
The guest room is also decorated in a minimalist style. Old wooden benches have been refinished and placed in front of bed to store clothes. A barred door that had not been used before became a climbing screen in master bedroom.
