Taizhou Dafu Bilingual Kindergarten
Design: Shanghai Sixu Architectural Planning and Design
There is plenty of room for both indoor and outdoor activities. Round lines increase width of horizontal field of view, creating more variability in space.
Smooth and consistent lines are also stored in class. More natural light and green plants are more conducive to healthy development of mind and body of children.
The whole building is both independent and integral, full of fantasy and artistic meaning.
Tianjin Good Friends Forest Kindergarten
Design: Dika Kindergarten Design Center
The overall concept of design of kindergarten is as follows: interpenetration with nature and let learning happen naturally. The triangular shape of original house was converted from a nursing home.
Houses with triangular spiers are lined up like a fairy-tale castle in forest.
The outdoor yard is a vast natural playground where children can freely discover their nature.
The interior also retains a transparent and natural pattern.
WEI Architectural Design
The design team broke with spatial hierarchy of traditional kindergartens and took "courtyard" as main unit to make buildings an "organic group" that connected and interacted with each other.
Each classroom space surrounds a space for children's social activities. This open space creates an environment between outdoors and completely enclosed space, thanks to huge skylights and ventilated curtain walls.
Jinsheng International Kindergarten
Design: Yuan City Xinjian (Shenzhen)
The kindergarten mainly uses environmentally friendly wooden materials, and after introduction of park landscape in front of building, this natural atmosphere can be extended to park.
The interior uses natural tones of concrete and wood as a base, while light and shadow are used to create a polite and orderly atmosphere of space.
Guangzhou Shenguo Kindergarten
