When decorating, we always want to decorate our home more perfectly, but for beginners who don't know how to decorate, this is really a very difficult task. In fact, decoration is a process of continuous generalization and continuous learning, but it will still continue to fall into pit. Now everyone will learn some so-called decorating experiences from different channels when decorating, but in fact some of them are big misunderstandings.
1. There is no smell in house, which means that environmental protection standard is met
Environmental protection has become focus of decor, and many people may give up beauty for sake of protecting environment. Especially those who have pregnant women, elderly and children at home pay more attention to this. As a rule, after finishing decoration, it is necessary to allow time for ventilation. Many people think that after two months of ventilation, there will be no smell in room, and environmental protection will be up to standard. This is actually wrong. Benzene, ammonia, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, radioactive radon, etc., affecting human health, can not be dispersed once a year or two, and some of them are colorless and odorless, content of which in room cannot be judged only by "smell".
2. Not suitable for summer decoration
Many people think that summer is not suitable for decorating. In fact, summer is very suitable for finishing, because high temperature in summer is more conducive to release of harmful substances into materials. Thus, ventilation time after decoration will be reduced, and even move into a new house earlier. And because of weather, very few people are engaged in repairs in summer, so whether it is a designer, foreman or construction foreman, schedule is relatively free. At same time, many merchants of tangible goods also start more preferential activities for sake of merchandise, which turns out to be simple, saving money and worries.
3. The more outlets better
When arranging a new home, many people repeatedly emphasize that more sockets should be left, wanting to arrange a dozen differently on each wall. Although there is nothing wrong with reserving more sockets, this does not mean that more is better. Firstly, if there are too many outlets, cost of finishing will naturally be high, especially since such a number of outlets on an initially simple and neat wall is a bit unpleasant. Therefore, position and number of outlets only need to be placed in correct position according to your normal living habits, and one or two can be added accordingly on this basis.
4. The thicker and heavier tile, better
The water in tile is very deep, so many people who don't know how to do this think that heavier tile, better. Actually, this is not a standard for choosing a tile. When looking at a tile, first of all, you should look at its glaze, and then at its density. Of course, brand is also a guarantee. To check density of tile, you can drop a few drops of water on back of tile. If water is quickly absorbed by tile, it means that density of tile is low, and slower absorption, greater density.
5. Wallpapers that are easy to clean are more environmentally friendly
To make house more beautiful when decorating, many people choose wallpaper. Abrasion resistant wallpapers have nothing to do with protecting environment. If anything, it might even be less environmentally friendly. Abrasion resistance means that surface is waterproof and its base layer is often made of PVC. PVC wallpaper tends to contain formaldehyde during manufacturing process. That's true.
