As first home for a family of three, despite being a drab old house of 68 square meters, I am very satisfied. After all, as long as part of old house has good lighting, it is still very promising. turn it into a solar home after renovation. Even cabinets and floors that were originally made of solid wood in house were completely removed and replaced with light colored materials. All the walls that could be removed were removed and replaced with glass partitions. Of course it doesn't disappoint, it's a sunny room!
Here's a before and after comparison. Most of original materials are solid wood, but color is very dark, making an already dark home even darker and more depressing. After transformation, it looks much more spacious, layout is open, and instead, a transparent glass partition is installed on a thin metal frame that glows!
The entrance hall is not too spacious, a built-in wardrobe for shoes is built into kitchen wall, storage function is very powerful, space is used to the maximum.
A built-in wardrobe is also built into wall on left side of entrance, so you don't have to worry about storing clothes. There is a mirrored door on wardrobe door, which has a visual sense of expansion, and general view before leaving is also very convenient.
There is no unnecessary space on wall leading to living room. It is converted into a built-in storage cabinet with shutters, which can also separate storage pressure to collect books or store sundries. The smaller house, less messy it is.
There are no windows in kitchen, it is a dark kitchen, so it has glass sliding doors. Not only are there white cabinets inside, but there are also many lamps installed under hanging cabinets. Even if there is no natural light, space does not seem dim at all.
The space in living room is very small. There is a small office in this limited space. The sofa is not placed against wall, which increases capacity. Obviously this is a 5 square meter space, which looks much more spacious.
The living room is next to master bedroom and there is a glass wall between it and master bedroom. The curtains are closed for privacy and when they are normally open whole room becomes a sun room.
The TV wall is just a narrow wall. There is no shape, and there is no suitable sized TV cabinet. I purposely built one of stone materials. The low shape is beautiful and practical. The two bedrooms are very bright and the children's room is a bit smaller, it would be nice to have a functional room for this area.
The bathroom has an independent shower room, which is separated from wet and dry, space is small, and tiles are more fashionable and lighter. As long as small house design is strong, it really isn't a problem to think big and beautiful!
