The new house is a used old house, not only is house only 50 square meters, it is also an apartment of a special shape. The decoration required a lot of effort, as a family of three needs not only a sleeping place, but also functional spaces. After the repair, it turned out well. We squeezed out two bedrooms, and also planned a wardrobe and an office. Come and see how it's done!
First, let me show you floor plan. The area is really 50 square meters, and bedroom has a pointed triangular balcony. The space is small, but division of functions is very clear. The bathroom is too small. It was enlarged a little and used a walkway at entrance, and finally it became much more organized.
After modification, passage at entrance is relatively narrow, and there is no space to assemble a shoe cabinet. I can only buy such a ready-made small shoe rack with an inclination. This is a very simple style and casual shoes of a family of three can still be put off.
At entrance is living room. A dark green sofa in oily wax leather fits space perfectly. The TV wall and sofa wall are out of shape. Pretty fresh to decorate with a photo wall. The original old stucco cast iron radiator is replaced by this one. It has a sense of shape, saves space and is beautiful. With this functional area, it is quite complete.
The kitchen is relatively small, less than 4 square meters, and storage function is not weak at all. Not only is it full of wall and floor cabinets, but it also has stainless steel shelves on other narrow wall, which can store a lot of kitchen utensils, and kitchen tidy.too much.
The restaurant space is an independent space. Folding dining tables and chairs, sideboards and refrigerators are designed together to make most of space. Good capacity.
The master bedroom is oddly shaped and square furniture is actually a waste of space. In end, I just decorated whole house with tatami, and placed storage cabinets below. I made most of every inch of space, which is very practical!
The children's room is relatively small. I specifically bought such a children's bed with a wardrobe at top and a bed at bottom. There is enough space for storing clothes, so there is more extra space for childish bookshelves, tables, etc.
The bathroom is too small, but functional design is really beautiful. A shower curtain separates area for washer and dryer. The sinks are all hanging, which does not take up much space. The toilet and shower area is complete, can you believe that this is just a space of over 2 square meters?
Next to restaurant there is a storage room of 2 sq. m. wardrobe.
The main bedroom's balcony has wardrobes and tables. Once there is a dryer, there is little to no need to dry it. This small balcony is directly built into a small study. This multifunctional little nest is only 50 square meters, and there is a lot to learn for those who love small houses!
