“I’m very lonely without you, you are my life always, please love me always”

It’s been 28 months today. Finally there is a trial of the doctor who killed him, but there will never be any justice. I know he’d forgive, but I’m not sure I can.

Black child with one white glove that glows

Category: Angels,Art,MJ QuotesSeven @ 1:25 am

Rather than writing about the trial right now and that jerry-rigged, hideously imprecise drip setup we learned about on Thursday from Dr. Shafer; rather than ruminate about how Conrad Murray obviously “infused” (maybe even poured) propofol into Michael’s body as he lay dying while Murray chatted and texted with his various mistresses and other patients, I decided instead to write about a more pleasant subject. That’s not to say I won’t write a summary of weeks 3 and 4 of the trial. I will, and I will do so as much for my own reference as anyone else’s. But right now, something more pleasant is needed for my own heart and soul and maybe yours, too.

In the past, I’ve presented quite a bit of material on this site about Michael and art. I’ve written about Michael’s own artwork, and about artwork Michael commissioned from other artists and that he inspired in other artists. One artist I did an interview with a while back was Nate Giorgio. Just today, I came across something that I’m not sure I’ve seen before. It’s a painting Michael commissioned by Nate Giorgio along with a note about just how he wanted the painting done. Michael’s note reads:

Nate Do this picture for me But make the Baby in the Blanket Me. A little Black child with one white glove that glows. Love, Michael Jackson. p.s. put your Heart into this one.

Another thing that I came across (and I’m not really sure what to think of it) was a print from a March 2011 issue of Vanity Fair by an unknown artist entitled “A Very Special Delivery“. Or, “Elizabeth Taylor Ascending to Heaven Accompanied by the Angels Michael Jackson and Richard Burton“. It features Michael and Richard Burton as angels welcoming Elizabeth Taylor into heaven.

Vanity Fair is proud to offer the exclusive first image of a lost masterwork recently discovered in a cellar of the building formerly occupied by Chasen’s restaurant in West Hollywood, California: artist unknown, date unknown (circa early 21st century). Oil and PaintShop Pro, 48” by 32″. Collection of Hamish Robertson and Bruce Handy.

A note included with the article states: “Scholars believe the falling pink roses symbolize a new fragrance line Taylor had on the drawing board at the time of her death.

This last story is another one about Michael inspiring, while also commissioning art from an artist. Czech Artist Helena Kadlcikova spent 3 months with Michael at Neverland. He apparently commissioned three paintings from her. My friends at UK Loves MJ on Facebook collected many photos of her work on their page and interpreted an interview with her using various links and snippets. Below, I share with you a roughly translated version of Helena’s fascinating story:

Helena Kadlicova’s Visit to Neverland

As the only Czech to visit Neverand in some time Artist Helena Kadlcikova spent 3 months at Neverland. She talked about art with Michael, dined together and played with his children. This is the first time that she has talked about this to the media (Cosmopolitan magazine). Helena lived with Michael for 3 months and felt it was a bit like a sci-fi fairytale. How did this actually happen?

“It’s definitely not easy,” says Helena Kadlčíková. Her journey to the seat of the famous singer began in 2001. The first stage was to get Michael to see the paintings that Helena had painted whilst he was in his hotel in London. After arguing with the bodyguards Michael agreed to see Helena as they had met before. Michael ordered some paintings. Helena however had one condition, she did not want money she wanted to go to Neverland. Michael agreed and on a piece of paper with a Peter Pan Logo he wrote a contact number and Michael asked that she contact his assistant Evvy Tavaszi.

Two years passed “It was very difficult to agree everything, All I had to constantly dash. The problem was with the Visa. Michael sent me a signed fax invitation letter, but I needed something to get me to the Embassy. So I followed him to Berlin in 2002 where he was just visiting so I could take a picture with him.” [In another article Helena says when she met Michael in the hotel he had just gotten up and was still half asleep and in his pyjamas and this was the photo she used to get her visa!] Helena presented the Berlin photos to Prague officials and though at first suspicious they stamped her passport with no problems. She looked forward to going to Neverland and only believed it herself when she had her ticket o California. She was to stay for 2 weeks but stayed for 3 months.

Newspaper article about Helena's stay at Neverland (in Czech)

News article about Helena's stay at Neverland (in Czech). Helena met Michael in his hotel room and this picture was taken so Helena could get a Visa to visit Michael in the US.

The Golden Gate

In September Helena flew from Prague Ruzyne airport with a gift for Michael –a book on Czech Castles and Chateaux. She was met at LA by Michaels limousine and driver who took her to Neverland. “You do not know where you are going, what will happen. Suddenly he opens the gate and sign a covenant not to take photos or reveal information. Then you drive through another gate, the most gold, with music playing and then your andrenaline rises”. On arrival Helena settled in the living room of the main building which was full of antiques and sculptures but says it was homely. After a moment she was led to one of 4 guest suites.

Although the ranch is more than a 1000 hectares the building for guests is located only twenty meters from the house where Michael lived with their children. The entrance was protected by a code, which later was revealed to Helena. Jackson lived in private right-wing. “There I was also able to walk. says Helen, who enjoyed their luxury guest house. “It was in a rustic style. It could be likened to any presidential suite,” She says. Although Michael was not there on her arrival he was there in the evening and sought her out As he was going to Canada the next day for 3 days. “I’m almost asleep when I hear that someone is trying to get into my room. It was Michael. So I tell him it’s me. He did not know that beating. They started to solve it, then went into the next apartment. An hour later the phone rings, and Michael again, is there a Peter? So I say no, they did it in the next house, She says with a smile . [ Here I believe Michael is being a prankster].

After Michaels’s return from Canada, Helen finally could begin to paint. “He sent me pictures of the children Prince I, Paris and Prince II. [which Michael photographed himself, according to them}” and she painted their portraits. “He gave me a free hand just told me ‘here’ to draw a firefly”. “They had to solve a legal matter – at that time the public did not know yet how the kids look, “says the artist”. During her stay Helena completed three paintings before she left. Helena did not always paint. Michael provided a car and driver for trips to Santa Barbara and other places. She also enjoyed the Zoo, Fair and Michaels recording studio. Sometimes with Michaels, other times with the children of Michaels cousins. “We rode together on the quad. Also, Michael drove us by car, but we ended up with one around in bed. [I assume a flower bed]. There was a cinema in which we went to a screening of films. The film showing that night was always on the bulletin board in the kitchen” Helen recalls.

The kitchen was the major centre of Neverland Here everyone ate together, discussed, watched television and spun plans for the day.. “ “In the morning, getting up around ten, then went into the kitchen for breakfast. Michael mostly had the room to fetch food. Sometimes I am giving a glass of green drink such, something very healthy, once I tried it too. Well, much good it just was not. Otherwise, eat what everybody else. ” Helena usually ate breakfast with his children – he could afford virtually anything, what came to her taste. From hot English breakfast across many types of bread, cornflakes to a wealth of fruit. “Then I went to teach children in the afternoon [believe to paint] and play with them. The dinner was a choice of four dishes. Although Michael often claimed to be vegetarian, meat such as turkey burgerům, certainly did not shy away from. If someone was hungry they would just ask the chefs to cook”

Helena saw Michael Jackson practically every day. Most times he was in Pajamas. “He used very strong perfume, so I always knew he was coming or where he is. When he was fighting clothes, I knew I had just my underwear was fighting with him, because it was still feel his scent,” says Helen. [I took this to mean maybe when they play fought together, Helena could still smell Michael on her clothes!] The chance to remain with the king of pop for a moment alone was minimal – he always has someone with him. Yet Helen has several such meetings. “Sometimes we had met in his library. We talked about art. The paintings that I painted. Michael liked the classics, abstraction is not for him too. Also often talked about his first wife Lisa M. Presley. It was obvious that he still has some relationship” she feels adding that Jackson was educated, a sensitive man with a great sense of humour, someone who could not say no. “We constantly had a Gnome. Helena addressed me. [Maybe a knickname] He did not say it, but rather sang it. That led to embarrassment and he did it on purpose. While Helena was at Neverland it was her birthday, Michael had a cake made. We ate the cake in the morning Michael was gone the next day slyly smiling.” For her, was not a famous singer just Michael.

Police Cutting up Books and Toys

In Neverland, where ever you went music was played or was played from hidden loudspeakers , also in the trees you can hear birdsong, and Helena met Michaels mother and an American singer and actress Lisa Minelli. “I was having coffee in the kitchen, sat next to Michael, when Lisa arrived. Immediately I began to imagine it, of which I was totally confused. Finally I was all day with her assistant and a dog, which at the time Lisa had. Michael is afraid of him, “says Helena”.

In the last month of her stay with the children, Michael went to Las Vegas. Then she saw him last in Neverland. “When he went, it was quite boring, I enjoy it when he arrives. Helen’s stay was interrupted by police raids at Michael’s headquarters, followed by a protracted trial. In it the singer was accused of sexually abusing children. Police raided the ranch a week before her departure. “Often there flew over helicopters, from which people took pictures of the ranch. Once Upon a Time in the morning I also heard a helicopter, and from it a man shouted something through the loudspeaker. At Neverland no one knew what was happening. They were all in shock. Soon there came a lot of police officers who cut the children toys, Michael’s old books, breaking things. It seemed that they were doing it on purpose. He [police] stepped into my room and asked me various questions,” says Helen dramatic moment whose echoes filled the headlines for many weeks. The process eventually came out the singer in 2005 as innocent. In the evening we then sat in the kitchen to the TV and finding out what is actually happening. A few days later, in early December, I left.”

If it wasn’t for Michael, I would probably never get so far with my painting. He always used to tell me, whatever you’d like to achieve, YOU can do it, nothing is off limits. -Helena Kadlicova

They said in there [Neverland] I still have some things [painting equipment] in January that will definitely come back, “says Helena. It did not happen. Singer after the trial moved from the ranch. Michael saw Helena again only after three years in London. He chose the other images created for him in the meantime and they agreed to meet again.

Evidence of Angels

Michael Jackson was born an angel at 7:33 p.m. US Central Time on August 29th, 1958. After a lifetime of humanitarian work, of putting others before himself, and bringing people together all over the world through his performance, music, film, and dance, he tragically received his wings on June 25th, 2009. It broke millions of hearts to see him physically leave this life. There are endless experiences and stories that tell us we were in the presence of an angel here on Earth. And, there are at least a few that tell us he’s still around. Not physically, but as a divine spirit. I’ll share a little bit of both types of stories with you today, in honor of his physical birth day.

Remember that I wrote on January of this year about the numbers 111 or 1111 as “angel numbers“. I’ve read that ‘111‘ can symbolize a gateway of divine communication from angels to mortals and I know myself and many others have been seeing the sequence ‘111‘ or ‘1111‘ frequently popping up here and there. When you see these numbers around you, mind what you’re thinking at that moment. Are you seeing your dreams manifested in your mind’s eye or are you distracted or grousing about something else? Are you helping or giving to someone else, or just worrying only about your own problems? It’s said that ‘111‘ or ‘1111‘ means the angels have left the door open to let you know there is a way to your dreams and/or a way to help other achieve theirs — no matter how seemingly simple and insignificant or how seemingly insurmountable or impossible they are. Think about that. Especially if you’re seeing these numbers pop up everywhere.

A fellow writer named Aberjhani shared with me some dreams he had about Michael a while back. I found them quite compelling but it wasn’t yet time to share them. Recently, Aberjhani contacted me about these dreams and said he was told: “It’s time” for them to be shared. So, here are Aberjhani’s two dreams about Michael:

1. He (Michael) and a group of us were playing a very laid-back game of touch football, with more laughing and goofing around than hardcore running or dodging. Michael had the ball so everyone attempted to converge on him and he literally danced toward the sidelines. Just as the others reached him, he tossed the ball over everyone’s head, more like he was doing a basketball skyhook, and it went over to Randy, who had been left alone, and Randy went for the touchdown. While everybody stood around stunned by the unexpected pass and touchdown, I noticed a medallion on a silver chain around MJ’s neck and moved closer to get a better look it. When I did, he held it up and I saw the sculpted outline of an angel. I couldn’t resist reaching to touch it, but when I did, a brilliant light streamed out of it, covered everything in rays of white and gold, and then the dream faded.

2. I was inside a radio station with a suitcase when MJ suddenly appeared in a broadcast booth with windows that appeared somewhat foggy, but it was clearly him. He began to perform a pantomime of putting on a puppet show and with his fingers drew figures on the foggy window. Several people realized what was happening and were stunned to see Michael Jackson in the booth putting on this unusual show. One man was passing by and said there was no way he could miss this. Two children and a couple of women came up to the window and stared in awe, both at the fact that it was MJ and at whatever they understood him to be writing on the glass. I was supposed to be getting dressed to go somewhere but decided I also had to stay, so opened the suitcase I was carrying and started to change out the pajamas I was wearing into jeans, shirt, etc., trying to get ready before the word hit the streets and radio station became too crowded to really enjoy the experience. As I changed, MJ continued to pantomime and his song “Butterflies” started to play over the radio speakers.

I won’t try to interpret these dreams. I suspect they will have different meanings for everyone, depending on each person’s heart, mind, and soul. Personally, I find the first one most compelling. The second one is a little bit similar to a dream I had myself about Michael in that it involves getting dressed.

In my dream, Michael was coming to my home or office. The space didn’t particularly look familiar. I wasn’t dressed yet and ducked into a side cove to get my top completely on. Just as I finished, Michael came through the door with others and I hugged him warmly saying: “Hi Michael, it’s so good to see you!“. It felt like I had met him before or knew him.  He was wearing a red shirt and black pants, his straight black hair and no hat this time. Later in the dream, I was lying down on a table with some sort of jug or container sitting in that upside-down ‘V’ at the center of my ribcage. Michael was pouring stuff through a tube into the jug and it overran and spilled all over me and down onto the floor. It wasn’t a problem though. There was no upset – it didn’t seem anything was wrong. It was all very calm and peaceful. The entire dream – from greeting him to the part with the stuff spilling over onto me and the floor, felt so calm, warm, loving, sweet. It felt like I knew him from somewhere before. I awoke smiling. But I wondered what it was he was doing, and what he was pouring into that container?

Another dream I had was so vivid that I can’t really call it a dream. I haven’t shared this one publicly thus far though it happened quite a while ago. Michael, I believe, came to tell me goodbye. Or, he simply doesn’t like to sleep alone, I’m not sure which. See, I had been sleeping with his picture tucked beneath my pillow and went to sleep thinking of him and ‘talking‘ to him in my head/heart a little bit every night. He told me some wonderful things, many of which I’ve previously written about here. One night though, I fell asleep out in the living room on my recliner, instead. At around 4:00 in the morning, Michael came down my hallway, which is right to the side of the recliner I was in. I can see straight down the hall from that chair. He came through a gray curtain just outside my bedroom door. He was wearing an untucked dark blue shirt, black pants, and his black loafers. He had straight, black hair and he had on his sunglasses. Michael sat down right next to the recliner, sitting with his feet tucked under him. He would barely look at me and looked very sad, mostly looking down at his hands. I was of course so excited and my mouth was so dry that I could hardly talk. I said: “Hi Michael, it’s so great to see you!” I put my arm around his shoulder and pulled him close and tried to kiss him. I recognized his eyes and eyebrows. It was unmistakably Michael. I said: “I love you.” He looked down sadly at his hands clasped in his lap and said in a very quiet voice: “I love you too“. Then poof!, he was gone.

I “woke” up and was a bit frantic. I apologized for trying to kiss him, for my mouth being so dry and wondered what this all meant. Was he trying to tell me he had no voice anymore? I could barely hear him when he spoke. Was he saying “goodbye” to me? Was he upset because I wasn’t in bed “talking” to him as I had been most every other night since he passed? Was he upset because I tried to kiss him? I’m still not sure about any of that. I do know this was far too vivid and real to have been a “dream“. It had been Michael. I had a similarly vivid dream years after my stepfather passed while my mother was visiting me. I believe people’s spirits often visit the living in dream form, so as not to alarm those they want to communicate with.

Now let’s move from dreams to real stories from those who knew Michael

A lovely young woman named Talitha was one of those lucky enough to be able to follow Michael around the world for years. She has generously written about her experiences with Michael on a new website as a way to share her memories with the world. The name of her website is ‘Michael Jackson The Last Angel‘. Her memories of her time with Michael are incredible reading.  In the introduction to her site, Talitha writes:

Have you ever met an angel? I have. He has a mesmerizing presence, a dazzling aura and a heart of gold.

My name is Talitha and I grew up in Ireland. I went to Michael Jackson as a fan but, as he did with so many others, he treated me as a friend. I have created this web site to share some of what I observed and experienced over the years, as a tribute to the angel that he is and for all of those who love him – for those who spent time with him and have their own special memories and those who didn’t so you know that if you’d gone to him, he would have welcomed you into his world and loved you too. Because that’s all he knows how to do… is love.

I began traveling to see Michael in 1996, spent a day with him at Neverland in 2003, was around him on a daily basis for months at a time, and visited him and his children inside their LA home in 2009.

Stepping into Michael’s world was like stepping though a secret doorway to Narnia or sliding down a rabbit hole to Wonderland. Whenever I was with him, I felt like I was inside a fairytale, being swept up in a cloud of magic and joy and love. I will never forget the silvery quality of his voice and the light of his presence, floating me to heaven again and again.

Everything Michael did, he did for all of us, for children, for animals, and for the future of the planet. He is a true angel. Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or is wrong.

David Nordahl, Michael’s personal artist and friend for 21 years, shared the following about Michael:

Michael spent a third of a billion dollars on helping children, paying for surgeries, building hospital wings, orphanages, a burn center and on and on and on. The good things he did, he would never talk about them. You’d always have to hear it from people who were around him because Michael always thought if you did a charitable act & then you talked about it or bragged about it … all of the good you’re trying to do, that it negated all of that. So he never would talk about those things.

I asked him, “Michael, how can you do that? How can you spend the time with these children who are dying and then go from that, on stage and give that kind of performance?” He said, “How could I not? If these children want to see me, I know I’m not important, but Michael Jackson the superstar is, and if I can make a child live an extra minute or an hour or a day or a month, then wouldn’t that be worth it?”

Michael was always that way. If he would get a call from somebody and a child was dying, he would get on a plane and go and he would tell them, ‘I’m going to be back in 2 weeks to see you,’ and alot of the times he extended little kids’ lives that way. It gave them something to look forward to down the line. You have to admire something like that.

– David Nordahl

My friend Aberjhani who greatly admires and respects Michael, just wrote a new piece in honor of Michael’s birthday. In his article, Aberjhani says of Michael:

Yet neither the glittering crowns of royalty, nor the impressive might of statesmen, nor the luxurious comfort of five-star hotels caused his eyes to turn away from the needs of others.

This boy in the video above suffered a brain aneurysm which left him permanently confined to a wheel chair, and unable to speak. The boy made a wish to meet Michael Jackson, and on November 24, 1992, his wish came true. He was invited to Neverland, and, with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, got to meet his idol. The two shared an “I Love You” in sign language before saying goodbye. Sadly the boy passed away on July 26, 2004.

Finally, as everyone has heard, we lost Frank DiLeo just this past week. In honor of both Frank and Michael and as an illustration of the fact that Michael must have known on some level that he was an angel, here are a couple of memories from their time together.  From a December 30th, 1984 article in People magazine:

Midnight to 3 a.m. is the time Dileo and Jackson usually spend discussing business and receiving special guests. One night in Dallas, it was a 9-year-old boy who had a brain tumor and spinal cancer, rushed up to Michael’s room on a stretcher. Dileo turned away in tears when the boy weakly reached up with a gloved hand to touch his idol, but then Tookie once more saw in Jackson the sinew beneath the satin. “Don’t feel sad, don’t cry,” he told Dileo. “This is why I’m here.

The quote below is from another anecdote Frank DiLeo shared in Part 2 of Aphrodite Jones’ Michael Jackson segment on True Crime ID, which aired on April 29th, 2010. Frank was in an orphanage with Michael visiting a dying child. Frank was actually crying because it was so upsetting for him to see, and below is what Michael said to him at that moment.

You have to understand Frank, this is our job. Not on the stage. This is our job. To make somebody feel good.

-Michael Jackson

Michael and Frank DiLeo

Michael and Frank DiLeo

As I’ve mentioned, I’m convinced given what he told Frank DiLeo, David Nordahl and many others, that on some level, Michael Jackson knew he was an angel. He at least knew with little uncertainty what his purpose was in life. He said many times and showed us in many ways who and what he really was, and he wasn’t about himself at all. He was all about giving to others. Most everything he did was for someone else. Because most people are all about themselves and all about taking rather than giving, Michael was deemed a ‘freak‘ by many. It’s sad that in our society, people don’t recognize a truly decent human being (or an angel) when they see one. Instead, they demonized him because he’s different, when they should have been trying to emulate him instead.

Finally, here’s what Michael himself said about Angels in ‘Dancing the Dream’.  Michael wrote:

It’s hard to see angels, although I’ve stared at their pictures for hours. Some people can see them without pictures, and they tell interesting tales. Guardian angels are all female, for instance, which didn’t surprise me once I found out. A birth angel, recruited from the younger ranks, attends every baby when it appears, while another angel, older but not grim, helps the dying to leave this world without grief or pain.

You can pray to the angels and they will listen, but the best way to call them, I am told, is to laugh. Angels respond to delight, because that is what they’re made of. In fact, when people’s minds are clouded by anger or hatred, no angel can reach them.

Not all angels have wings — so the visionaries claim — but those who do can unfurl a span of golden feathers stretching over the entire world. If you had eyes that could look straight into the sun, you would see an overwhelming angel presiding there; a more serene one smiles out from the face of the moon.

Angels spend their entire lives, which are forever, spinning around the Creator’s throne, singing His praise. People with keen ears have listened in. The harmonies of the angelic choir are incredibly complex, they say, but the rhythm is simple. “It’s mostly march time,” one eavesdropper affirmed. For some reason, that fact is almost the best I have learned so far.

After a while it got lonely hearing about angels you couldn’t see for yourself. When an angel-watcher heard that, she was shocked. “Not see?” she said. “But you have an angel in you. Everybody does. I can see it right now, and I thought you could, too.” “No,” I said sadly, and I asked what it looked like. “Did it look like me?

Well, yes and no,” the angel-watcher mysteriously answered. “It all depends on what you think you are. Your angel is a speck of light perched at the very center of your heart. It is smaller than an atom, but just wait. Once you get close to it, your angel will expand. The closer you come, the more it will grow, until finally, in a burst of light, you will see your angel in its true shape, and at that very instant, you will also see yourself.

So now I am looking for my angel all the time. I sit silently, turning my gaze inward. It wasn’t long before I caught a glimpse of something. “Is that you, Angel, holding a candle?” One flicker and it was gone. Yet that was enough to set my heart wildly beating. Next time my angel will be waving a lamp, then holding a torch aloft, then lighting a bonfire.

That’s what the angel-watcher promised, and now that I have caught sight of glory, I know enough to believe.

Angel of Light” – Michael Jackson, from Dancing The Dream

Two Angels....

Two Angels....

Michael, if you wanted to see an angel, all you had to do was look in the mirror. Happy Birthday, Michael Jackson. ♡

Pete Townshend on Michael Jackson

Pete Townshend on Michael Jackson

Pete Townshend wrote in the diary section of his official http://www.petetownshend.co.uk website that he’s always known Jackson to be loving and supportive of children, especially those in need. Townshend said:

[Jackson] has unselfishly helped every cause, and individual child, I have sent his way. In one case he hired a circus for the Down’s Syndrome children of a special school of the daughter of a friend of mine, and showed up to happily, and – yes – in childlike enthusiasm – watch the show with them. This little girl believed she was Michael’s future wife, and he so kindly allowed her to sit next to him, as his future bride. His feathers may be badly burned, and he may be damaged in other ways too, but he is something of an angel.

Michael and Natasha's son

Michael and Natasha's son

A letter from the mother of the little boy in the photo reads:

Farewell, and goodbye Michael, thank you America, ,what a superb send off you have organised for a man who gave all he had to give, physically, emotionally and as I have learnt today…, his contribution to so many, many charities, financially. Here in my home today in Sydney, Australia, there were no dry eyes and without a doubt the whole world is breaking their hearts which are filled with sadness.

The farewell tribute concert commenced in Sydney at 2.50 am and as I watched with bitter sweetness, I realized that indeed this was a wonderful tribute to a man who had nothing to give the world but his whole soul.

What can you write about a man who gave so much and contributed completely and wholeheartedly to the happiness of millions of people throughout the world, through his music, not to mention the many sick and infirmed children which he visited in hospitals throughout the many countries of the world where he so generously gave from his heart, gifts and tickets to his shows, and lifted their spirits which would I have no doubt would have aided in their recovery.

I am the mother of one such child, where my son and I had the opportunity of meeting Michael at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick when he visited Sydney on the 18 November, 1987. I will never forget that day as long as I live, when Michael came to the hospital with an abundance of stuffed animal toys, so generously given, to all the children in the children’s ward. He went around the ward and visited each child personally and quietly spoke words of comfort to them and I will never forget the delight of these children, the medical staff and the parents who visited on that day.

My son now is a grown man and I wish to share this photograph with the whole world because it shows Michael’s selfless and generous nature. My son, unfortunately, lost his eye in a school accident that week and, as you can imagine, it was a real tragedy for the whole family, but that day he gave us all some joy, great pleasure and and an abundance of happiness.

Michael, I know that you are with the angels and may God Bless your soul and, rest assured, you will live in our hearts forever. Thank you for the music.

My Someone in the Light Was You

Category: Angels,Photos,Prose/EssaysSeven @ 3:05 pm

Michael, on this 25th day of the 25th month of your absence from this physical world, know that you will always be our someone in the light, our someone of the light, our someone from the light. We miss your loving brilliance in this world, but it shines on from our hearts. Love you Michael, always and all ways.  © 2011 Seven Bowie
